Ingredients -
- 2 cup – Roop Laxmi Dalia
- 3 cups – Sugar
- 2 cup – Ghee
- ½ tsp – Cardamom Powder
- 1 cup – Dry Fruits (chopped)
- 6 cups – Water
Cooking Directions -

Warm ghee in a heavy pan and adds Dalia.

Stir and cook till the Dalia turns golden brown in color and exudes aroma.

Meanwhile melt sugar in one cup of water and keep aside

Boil the remaining water and keep it aside also.

Boil and add hot water to roasted Dalia.

Stir gently and cook till the grain of the Dalia grain is soft.

Now add sugar, cardamom and chopped dry fruit.

Cook till ghee separates along the sides, while stirring continuously.

Serve the Lapsi hot.
